Luke and Lacie

When I was really little, my parents and Luke's parents were best friends so of course me and Luke were also best buds! They ended up moving away, but we would all still visit each other. Right before college I was talking with Luke, and we found out we were both going to Young Harris. Such a small world! We ended up, I suppose 'reuniting' when we went to college, Alex and Luke became great friends and roommates and then Luke was our best man in our wedding.
When Luke and Lacie got engaged, we were so excited! I was so excited to be able to take their engagement pictures! We had so much fun and literally took pictures for about four hours! We found a spot on the side of the road and got the pictures with Luke's red truck and those ended up being some of my favorites! We're so excited for such great friends to start such a special time in their lives :)!

I love how Luke is looking at Lacie in this one-their smiles are so genuine!

The pastor of a church in Newnan, allowed us to come in and take pictures in the church. I loved the way the light looked from the stain glass!

My favorite truck picture of them :)!

Baby Evie

A week after my best friend Kerrie's baby girl was born, Alex and I drove to Athens to see her. She was so tiny and so beautiful! When I found out Evie was born, I seriously choked up! It was so special for me because Kerrie has always been like my third sister. We've known each other since we were five, lived in the same neighborhood until we went to college-were always told we looked like twins which we never understood, but loved pretending it was true! Were in each others weddings two years ago-and now she has a beautiful little girl! I'm so happy for her and her husband Matt! Of course I had my camera and spent some time getting pictures of her-I just love taking baby pictures!

I had to share this one first! Kerrie said this was her favorite way to cuddle her-aren't they beautiful!
Happy family!
A week after Evie was born, their bulldogs had puppies. This is Wall-E, Evie's puppy!

I love how she looks so aware of what's going on-even at just a week!

Mommy's touch! So sweet!

Luis and Vanessa

I met Vanessa my first year teaching, and I was so glad she asked me about doing some pictures of her and her husband for Christmas! Vanessa also does photography, and it's so great when another photographer asks you to take pictures! We met at our 'unnamed' location pretty early, and it was cold! But the weather was nice, and they braved the cold! They are such a cute couple, and Luis is so funny! I loved seeing him make her laugh! We had the nice Atlanta skyline, and lots of fun reflections. They've been married four years, and you can still look at each other so sweetly! Enjoy!

How fun are these elevators!

And escalators!

Isn't she gorgeous!!
I really love how they're so sincere in this picture.

Ellen's Maternity

I met Ellen about two months ago playing bunko with some friends, and found out we went to the same church. Alex and I have been lucky to join the community group at church that her and her husband Trent lead. I took some maternity pictures for her this past Sunday and I really wanted to share one for now! I just love how happy she looks!!

Sweet Baby Caleb

I really love taking maternity pictures, but even more so because I get to see the beautiful babies after they're born! If you didn't see Jennifer's maternity pictures, you can see them here and here . It's always hard for me to narrow down the pictures I'm going to put on my blog-I always have favorites of course, but this time, I not only ended up photographing baby Caleb, but also got a few shots of Isabella who the camera just loves and I couldn't bring myself to not share those as well! Jennifer and Brian have such a beautiful family! Thank you for letting me have the privilege of photographing all of you! Enjoy!

Look at that sweet face!

I love seeing all of his expressions!!

Isn't she such the little model!?

Sweet baby sleeping!

Kerrie's Maternity Session

Kerrie has been my best friend ever since Kindergarten, and I was so excited for her and her husband Matt when she told me she was pregnant! I was going crazy seeing her with her cute little belly! We took pictures for forever, first at her church, then downtown Winterville where we grew up and then a few at her house. Her little girl Evelyn is now a little over a month old and cute as an be. I'll share those pictures later but for now here are a few of my favorites!!

Isn't she adorable!!

I love this picture of her and Matt-they look so excited and happy to be parents!!

I really love belly pictures-I think it's so amazing that there is a tiny little person in there!!!

Switzer Family!

I was of course so excited when Jennifer asked me about doing family pictures for a Christmas card this year! Jennifer works with my husband Alex, and I had already met her family which of course gives an advantage! We started out at Line Creek in Peachtree City on one of the most beautiful days in November-along with quite a few other families getting their pictures for their Christmas cards! We did some pretty traditional pictures there and then we moved on to Newnan for some fun! When we got to Newnan, I just had them play play play and it was so fun! I don't know who had more fun! We hid in a little alley way which got rid of all the nerves of photographing in public, and just took off! Here are some of my favorites! Enjoy!

This is perfect-brotherly, sisterly love haha!

Yay balloons!

So fun acting so silly!!!
